CRUDE FEST
West Texas get ready for one of the largest music festivals of its kind. Dubbed the Crude Fest an Oil and Gas
industry annual celebration will be held April 29th-May 1st in Midland Texas. The Festival will feature 22 of Texas
Music Hottest Acts like: Cory Morrow, Josh Abbott Band, Johnny Cooper, Rich O’Toole, Brandon Rhyder ,Mark
McKinney, Larry Joe Taylor, and Roger Creager just to name a few! People are expected to attend from cities and
states all over. Rich O’Toole says “ This is sure to be one of the best festivals of the year!”
The festival is two days and three nights. There is 720 reserved camping spaces available for campers, RV’s,
and tents by calling 432-685-3671. The HB Rentals Championship cook-off will be held in conjunction with the
Music Festival. A 5,000 dollar guaranteed purse is the prize to the winners. Cook-off entry and tickets for concert
are all available online at www.thecrudefest.com. This festival has six title sponsors attached including Fab-Tech
Drilling Equipment INC., Impulse Electric, Oil Works INC., Light Tower Rentals, Bearing Supply and Bridges
Equipment. Bakes assures that there is sponsorship opportunity available to everyone. Part of the Proceeds goes to
the Make-A-Wish foundation in the Permian Basin.
A festival of this magnitude is sure to be a great asset to Midlands’s and Odessa's local economy.
Hotels,Restaurants,convenience stores are sure to benefit from the tourist dollars. Local law enforcement will be
gaining extra incomefor officers who agree to provide security at the festival. Cody Baker, Owner of Lonestar
Music Productions states “ In all of the festivals we have done the entire community benefitted from the tourism
created by the festival.” Mark McKinney one of the Festivals artist states, “Midland is my old stomping ground.
Good times and great music. Permian Basin deserves a festival like this!”
